Questions for those who do B12 injections

It's a size 28, and I believe it's meant for subQ injections.  I think it's 1/2 inch long.  The pharmacist said it's what they normally use for allergy injections.

I have Anthem and they do not pay for needles either.  I am diabetic and I take Victoza injections (sort of like a epipen) and it covers the medication but I have to buy the needles to administer the meds.

Looong ago in a galaxy far away I was prescribed B12 injections. Didn't HAVE health insurance, so had to pay for those and a bunch of other prescriptions on credit (and will be paying THAT bill for 20 more years!).... but I remember calculating out the cost, and compared with some of the meds I was taking, the $7/month for B-12 plus supplies was really quite reasonable. Of course that was when I was in college, and that was a few years ago. I honestly don't recall how I disposed of the syringes.

I remember how good those shots made me feel.
