Best and Worst Hospitals For Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery

Although my hospital wasn't on it...I was happy to see that the hospital in my area on the list...the chief bariatric surgeon there had my surgeon as his professor during his fellowship!

The hospital I'm having surgery at next week IS on the list so that makes me feel good.

Revision on 06/21/13

patients rate the hospitals, not Health Grades which is not a site
where official agencies who provide information such as COE or
BCBS Weight Loss Surgery Excellence distinctions awards. While I think
Health grade is a good place to start looking, it is not the only place
when looking at reputations.
