Yes, it means not to get softgels.  The softgels have oil in them and we won't absorb that well.  If it's a tablet, it's probably fine.

It means they are water soluable, not in oil.  They usually come a powder in a capsule. The best ones are by BioTech and are available at vitalady.com - D3-50 or D3-5 = either 50,000 units or 5,000 units. The 50,000 units are the same dosage as the prescription ones except in the form of D that we can absorb.
