How do we count our days OUT?????

    Silly little question:

How do we count our days from surgery.
    Example:
    My surgery Feb 1, 2011
    Today is Feb 9, 2011

Do I start Day 1 on Feb 1st = today is 9 days out?
    or
Do I start Day 2 on Feb 2nd = today is 8 days out?

    Thanks..... Feedback Appreciated!

Every 24 hour period is one day.  So Feb 2nd you are 1 day out.  Feb 9th you are 8 days out.  Feb 1st you are 0 days out.

Flip a coin.  I counted the surgery day, but at this point I have no idea how many weeks it has been.  I quit counting weeks and just go by the # of months.  Go with your preference.

Too funny!  You could go binary I suppose 0,1,10,11,100 or hex even (except I can't remember how to count in hex)
