I am nearly five years post-op and live overseas. I am coming home this summer-- and need to schedule an annual visit to a Bariatric Surgeon/ or post care doctor...---as I am overdue and need bloods! Can anyone recommend someone terrific??
Possibly Dr. Daryl Stewart in Denton. Also, post on the TX board and ask for his patients, and see who the DSers, in particular, use for nutritional and lab followup. That should help you connect with a doc with a clue :-).
Dr. Joseph Kuhn in Dallas...he is wonderful. Perfect bedside mannor and a pleasure to visit. I know this b/c my 1st doc was awful and I now follow up with all of my care in Dallas (I live in Houston) because of Dr. Kuhn!
