I don't think it's possible to be 'entrapped' by our ways of thinking or eating. Entrapment specifically refers to law officers luring one into committing a crime.

Entrapment: noun: the luring, by a police officer, of a person into committing a crime so that he may be prosecuted for it.

I don't get it---what does go along with it?
