I'd be very careful and only measure out the appropriate amount (for me, it was about 2 oz right after surgery) and never exceed that in one meal.
Like MsBatt said, nerves are often cut, so we may not have the same "full signal" until things heal, so it can be dangerous to eat until we wait for a full signal.
Many say they don't get the regular full signal, but instead get a runny nose, hiccups, or sneeze when full, so till you know your bodies new signals, assuming you have any, I'd only eat a premeasured amount.
Some times dingle berries are the lowest hanging fruit.
