I'm pretty sure I'm entering menopause.  I'm kinda happy about it, frankly, even though I'm only 40.  But I am worried about how I've seen it affect people's weight.  Would love to hear your stories.

Heidi can you imagine how many pounds it would have been if you hadn't had surgery?

I am one of he lucky ones I still dont absorb all I eat.  Otherwise I would never be the size I am.

i've been going thru menopause for about 7 years now. And I'm in full blown for the last 3, "when will this hell end".
I know it was really hard to lose the weight once it started, and thanks to WLS i took it off, but it's really hard to maintain It's a battle every day just to stay at goal. I'm fighting with 7lbs all the time. Up and down, up and down. Not sure if that's the menopause or just me.

I started menopause early too, I'm 51 now, hope the end is near but i doubt it.

Thankfully I had my DS surgery POST menopausal. So it didn't affect mine.

I began menopause about the same time I had my DS. I don't think it affected my weight loss any, but I'm still having hot flashes, 8 years later...

I know a lady who swears she's still having them at 82.

(*sigh*)
