 I have a question, about the smoking.....does the smoking patches or gums effect the blood  the same way?

I don't know for sure,
but since the patches and gum contain Nicotine I would assume that it does.

according to my doc yes...he won't do the surgery unless you have been completely nicotine free for six weeks...that includes any cessation aides
