LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE LEGS!!!.... AWESOME TIPS FOR THE LOOSE BITS ... 

I have been on here long enough for most to know that I love to sew and I just love to be creative be it with my brushes and canvas ... or on my sewing machines .. or with my weaves/wigs/lace fronts/full laces or braids .. or just being creative PERIOD ... I am pretty sure there is nothing new under the sun .. but I am wrapped like this ... artistically goofy LOL and I love love love to share my creative moments with my friends IRL and in cyberspace ... 

I shared before with you my upside down pantyhose for the batwings ... remember??? well how about this number here ...

CHECK IT OUT... ECONOMIC ... DOABLE... EASY PEASE ... AND LOOKS HAWT ... SANDA HOSE FOR THE LOOSE/WRINKLED/LUMPY/BUMPY/CELLULITE/SPIDER VEINS/ IN NEED OF SUPPORT BITS ON THE LEGS AND THIGHS....

HEY I HAVE BEEN GETTING TONS OF COMPLIMENTS AND HAVE BEEN DOING THIS SINCE MASSIVE WEIGHT LOSS RENDERED MY THIGHS THE LUMPY APPEARANCE OF COTTAGE CHEESE IN SOME AREAS ... WHERE LOOSE SKIN, WRINKLES, DIMPLES, CELLULITE, STRETCH MARKS AND SPIDER VEINS TELL A TALE OF FEET THAT HAVE WALKED MANY MILES CARRYING UP TO A HIGHEST WEIGHT OF 327 POUNDS... AHHHHHH AHHHHHHH I HAVE SAVED UP FOR MY THIGHPLASTY BUT AM HAPPILY RELINQUISHING THE FUNDS AND SETTING THEM ASIDE FOR MY SISTER SHOULD THE NEED ARISE....

SHARING WITH YOU ...... MY VERSION OF WHAT I CALL SANDA-HOSE OR SLIPPER-HOSE IN THREE EASY STEPS....

You only need 3 items ...

1. Sheer support hose in your skin tone... the best brand for this that I have been using is Legg's Support hose (read SUPPORT NOT 'shaper') or make sure it is a SHEER SUPPORT HOSE IN YOUR SKIN TONE IN A BRAND THAT DOES NOT RUN .... this is the ONLY one I use....

 

2. Jobst IT-stays Body Adhesive roll on ... best brand on the market can get at Compression sales.com
 

3. Pair of sharp scissors...

THREE STEPS .. .EASY PEASY...
1. Take a pair of support hose and cut along the seam at the toes or just cut the toe part off but not pass the double fabric into the sheer nylon ... like this.. AND PUT THEM ON.... 
 

2. Put on the stockings with your toes exposed and at the base of your toes use the IT STAYS BODY ADHESIVE ROLL ON .. TO ROLL ACROSS THE EDGE OF THE STOCKINGS FROM TOP TO UNDER FEET...

3.. GET DRESSED!!!! AWESOME THIGHPLASTY WITH JUST A HOSE ... AHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHH THIS CRAZY ARSED SISTA IS GIVING UP HER THIGHPLASTY FUNDS TO A GOOD CAUSE ... MY SISTER IS IN THE FIGHT OF HER LIFE FOR HER LIFE AND I CAN DO JUST AS WELL WITH MY SANDA-HOSE!!!

And since I am a picture AW ... I will show you ME with my home concocted Sanda-Hose...
1. Cut hose .. got dressed... rolled the It-stays around the edges like this... see the edges?
 
 2. I put my slippers back on ... the hoses are sheer .. I ALWAYS wear them ... they are totally washable every night too... they come in packs of 3 pairs and I order tons of them and they last for-ever...
 
Done! I took a picture for my digital empowerment journal 'a picture a day keeps the pounds and the inches away' because I love love love tracking Snippets of my journey in pictures ... I guess these are sanda-slipper hoses LOL...
 
 They work with ANY open toed shoes ... peeps have had to touch my legs because they don't believe I have on an awesome MARTITALINDA GOOFY ARSED SANDA-HOSE!

 

and DON'T FORGET THE TIPS I SHARED ON HERE BEFORE ... the upside down downside up pantyhose... FOR THE BATWINGS AND LOOSE BITS ON THE ARMS...

Same principle ... this time you cut out the toes and the crotch .... slip the waistband over your head and stick your head through the crotch and your arms through the legs ... not to worry... it stretches and support and HIDES AND CONCEALS THE BATWINGS ... I even wore them after my modified brachioplasty because I had swelling for ages and still do... use It-Stays body adhesive roll-on or a bracelet or any finish to the edges at the wrist and voila ... INSTANT BRACHIOPLASTY WITH A PANTYHOSE ... WOOT!

LOOSE BITS...SAGGING.. HANGING..WRINKLING..DIMPLING..SPIDER VEINS ... IT SUPPORTS IT.. IT HOLDS IT IN WITH THE SAME COMPRESSION AS SPANX IMO .. I USED THESE SAME HOSES TO CONCEAL MY PANNUS PRIOR TO PANNICULECTOMY... BECAUSE I WENT SAGGING WHEN I SHRUNK FROM THIS ... MY BEFORE ... KEEPING ME FOCUSED ON MY PRESENT...

 Thank you Sue .... while it is not a one size fits ALL solution it has helped me a lot .. not for looks only but because I do need the support for my weak superficial veins especially since after work and hitting up the gym I usually am working extra hours doing someone's hair ... on my feet for hours at the end of the day ... I live in my support hoses ... they offer firm support with a sheer look and they really pull in my loose bits ... I love 'em!

 I never knew about that roll-on adhesive stuff.  I always relied on double-stick tape for my dressing needs, but this opens up everything!

Girl It-STAY ROCKS!!!! have you seen my strapless gowns and how awesomely they stay up all night long??? LOL .... it has MANY uses too ... can you believe I have used bits of it when sewing very sheer slippery fabrics? it works!!! and washes off with soap and warm water with no residue...

LOVE this Idea, but how do you prevent the sagging knees...the hose I mean not the skin.....no matter what I do or what size I buy the hose still sag and gap at my knees......

 Easy solution for that .... take the stay it and roll a horizontal and a vertical line across your knees and in the back where your leg creases ... pull your hose up tight .. make sure you have firm support ... when pulling your hose up pull the looser skin on your thigh upwards towards groin area ... pull the hose over belly/pannus to waistline ... rub a line of It-says across the waistband and across the upper thighs if you like ... it is transparent and it stays even if you sweat ... it does not pull at the skin when you remove your garment either and it is washed off with soap and warm water...  the stay it will keep your hose in place so it will not sag and gap at your knees ... get firm support or a size smaller if you can...

By the way, you are so cute in the short hair cut, but I also love the long waves!!!!

My legs are a disaster, but I wear capris and pants instead, I haven't seen a pair of hose on anyone in years -- it's certainly cheaper than shapewear!  Creative.

Thanks!!! You rocked that black dress at the OH event ... with awesome boots ... now that is my winter alternative for MY disastrous legs  ... my spider veins look like a map in some areas ... and I am too chicken to have them lasered ... go figure...

Ok, OK! That's it. I am really going to try this. I have suffered long enough. I mean-if I am not hiding my arms, I am hiding my legs (calves). Like you, I lost MASS weight and well-apparently the excess skin didn't evaporate! (What a rip!)

My arms...my arms..weep..my arms!! They are such a mess. It's bad enough that I am so very pale and nearly a shade lighter than milk-but the skin traffic jam that happens at my elbow is nearly obscene!

I am in the UK, which translates to "Here we go-let's see what I can find which is the equivelent of the items you have outlined".

I cannot sew a button to save my life, but I am going to try this. I will let you know what I find here in my little tiny Lancashire town (Olde Towne) LOL!

Mmmkay-I will get back to you as soon as I check out what I can get my hands..or is it arms and legs on!?

 If you can't find them let me know... I would not mind at all in fact I would just LOVE to ship a few boxes out to you ... there are 3 pairs in a box .. very inexpensive and last for-ever and through several washes ...  they don't tear or run unless you intentionally or accidentally rip them ....  I tried to get a site online where they can be ordered but they just list the stores ... I stocked up over the weekend at a store in Wallingford and found them for $4.50 per box of 3.  Make sure it is the one in the everyday support w/control top ...

Thanks so much! I just found the adhesive, it's on the slow boat from my old Homeland! LOL! I figure it will be here in the next couple weeks.

Now on to the L'eggs. Those are so far much more tricky to find! I will PM you and ask a few questions. I cannot figure out what my size would be and what about my darling wings? What size do we use on those?

Thanks again for all your help and kindness. It actually gave me a boost today. I don't think other people who do not struggle with the skin issue can understand how sad it can be not to be able to wear those pretty things!

Seriously, I think you have a good thing out there that others would very much like to have perhaps even market at bariatric centers throughout the U.S. -Hey it's an idea right??? You rock girl... Thanks for the encouragement Molly ... but I won't market some of my goofy ideas though. .. Some of my thoughts and ideas are also such big whoppers .. my goodness if I were to share some of those I would either have you in stitches or have you thinking that I have totally lost it already LOL ... like the time I decided to stuff my dawgs into these tight fitting shoes that were my size in lenght but too NARROW in width  ... so I decided to fix matters and wear the shoes anyway by ductaping around my foot to squish my bunions in and making my feet narrow-er so I could fit New York into New Jersey BUT at the end of the day there was a price to pay ... BAD IDEA ... lets call it a WHOPPER LOL.... yup ... it is all tracked in my digital journal ... I called it the shoes from hell .. but it was not the shoes ... it was ME being goofy LOL.... and of course my dufus husband thought it was funny after I crawled in the house on all fours my feet hurt so bad at the end of the day  and I could not get the shoes off ... he took pics while my son pried them off my feet ... that was back in 2008..
