    Almost 4 weeks post-op

I guess it can be said that I am healing slower than normal. But my progress is SO unbeleivably slow its driving me nuts. My insides feel like I've just had an all-night vomit party! And it doesn't get better.  I feel like this ALL THE TIME!!!

Has anyone else had this? Is it normal?

    Thanks for any help!

What kind of surgery did you have? What kind of symptoms are you experiencing?
I had the Rioux NY. I am always uncomfortable...I feel like everything is all bunched up and tender. Makes me move slow. I don't know how else to explain it.
Not normal.  You should be comfortable.  I'm 10 days out and last night I ate 2 spoonfuls of mashed pototes and wanted to die and vomited but that has been the first time I have had any pain.  Please contact your doctor.  You should be healing and not in pain.

I had a scrambled egg somewhere around 5 days. Sheer hell for 4 hours, plus vomiting. Unfortunately, vomiting is going to be a part of our life. But it gets easier the more we heal. I can say that. I will talk with my Dr. Thanks!

I made scrambled eggs with milk making them moist and fluffy.  I can eat 1 of those if I chew slowly and make sure it goes down before another bite.
