I have since my DS.  I'm not sure if the fat content is good for RNY.  Tread lightly.

There is room on this earth for all of God's creatures..next to the mashed potatoes

I skip the rice and bread and just get a bowl of pork.  That does me for at least three meals.  As long as you are approved for meat, chipole should be a great meal.  Or a whole bunch of great meals with a new pouch.

I would not have been able to tolerate that at only 2 weeks out.
If its taste you miss, try to find it in liquid sauces.....and leave the tougher textures out for now.
At one point I used to sip pickle and olive juice out of the jars just to have something that wasn't a SF sweet taste!

Also used to remind myself that food will always be there later.....

    Good luck.

We just got one here in CT nearby, its my bf's new fav restaurant.  I love the bowls, we go to Moe's also.  Don't believe the hype you don't absorb all the fats you eat either, the Dsers will convince you only thier surgery malabsorption lasts forever but amazingly after 7+ years I poop out more greasy **** when I eat anything even remotely high in fat.  So I would say once the doctor says its a go, go give it a try.
