Weight Loss Surgery Directory

Need some input from Post op folks.

lol as i type this my cat somehow found an icecream sandwich wrapper and ran off with it like it was a toy.

now here's my "dillema" i guess you could call it. i've fallen off the wagon, but like only half way.
not being hungry like EVER makes it really hard to eat, sometimes i try to eat and just cant. im getting back into upping my protien intake.... immediatly following surgery i couldnt drink ANY protien shakes because they gave me the abosolute worst dumping EVER!!!

im officially 9 months out and about 130 pounds down, thanks to aunt flow ive gained like 6 pounds this week. anyways....

I wanna do a liquid diet, shrink my pouch a little bit and jumpstart more weightloss, (i still have about 100 pounds i want to lose 120 my doc wants me to lose)  i lost insurance so i cant make an appt with my doc cause i cant afford the OOP expense right now.

i am looking for suggestions as to how i can jumpstart the weight loss, i havent lost anything significant in about 3 months now.

before anyone asks, yes ive been smoking but am seriously quitting. and no i havent been working out, mostly due to a back injury, but am going to start an eating plan and work out routine, considering i literally have a complete home gym thanks to still living at home. I have a regular schedule to keep now that my boyfriend is working set hours, so that will help keep me in line.

anyways.... the liquid diet is what im really looking for tips on. and please dont tear me to bits over doing something wrong, i dont want to be "yelled" at. im just struggling here and really unhappy with my current weight even tho its 130 less than last summer, i wanna lose more!
Personally, I wouldn't do a liquid diet. It's not really sustainable long-term and you will feel much more full eating solid proteins at this stage. I'm sorry you're having such a tough time eating. Have you tried soft-ish proteins (like tuna, silken tofu, beans, flaky white fish...etc.)? Those are usually a little bit easier to get down than the coarser meats.

That said, if you really want to jumpstart weight loss, the exercise will do it. It doesn't take much at the start and you'll be surprised at how good you feel! Hope the back pain lays off and you can get moving.

i dont mean like a forever liquid just a few days maybe a week.
I always was able to jump start my weight loss by uppping my daily protein intake - I ate my protein and only used dry in things like yogurt. This rule still works for me - protein first, greens next, and carbs last. We need a few carbs to feed out brain but the more that I eat the more I crave - I don't totally eliminate them but I do watch how much I put in my mouth. You can do it. Just get back to what you were doing early out.
try the F  Factor diet plan , its awesome I lost 14 lbs in 3 weeks

go to www.livingafterwls.com and find the 5dpt - 5 day pouch test.  Follow it.  It will help you eliminate carbs from your daily eating and usually starts the weight loss again, along with getting you back in touch with the feeling of tighness in your stomach.
