excited about surgery...trying to eat like a VSGer

Hi, I think Im getting the hang of eating. My surgery is not scheduled yet...but I only need my psych eval and then Im ready to do my liquid diet and surgery. Its just around the corner. :) Im trying to mentally preapre myself and also...get my tongue ready too!

    My favorite things so far.
    Liquids:
Crystle Light PURE Kiwi & Strawberry packets

    Protein: Soft Diet
Fage Greek Yogurt 0% fat: 18g protein (add sugar free syrup if needed)
    Egg scrambled: 7g protein
Whey Protein to make shakes: 26g protein for each scoop
Glucerna Hunger Smart Shake (good for diabetics) : 15g protein

When you have a sweet tooth the protien shakes work VERY well.

    Food: Puree & soft
Organic "Plum" baby foods: all the flavors are good....they are in pouches... approx 60-100 cals a pouch and 1 or 2 grams protein each, 2-3 g of fiber each. The Zuchinni, banana, amaranth is the best!!!

Im going to try sugar free pudding and popsicles... :)

I would avoid the baby food honestly, too many carbs and sugar and the calories are high. You should head over to the VSG forum to get more/better ideas.
