I had my RNY over four years ago. In the last year or so, I began having severe cramping in my feet (mostly), hands and legs. I assumed it was due to a lack of potassium and/or water. I will typically drink Gatorade and water and sometimes add a banana and/or peanut butter. However, I have a friend who has had the same and her husband who had another type of WLS and they too have severe cramping in the legs, feet and hands.
Is anyone else having these? Does anyone know what is causing them? Or do you think it is just coincidental that the three of us are having these issues?
Thanks for help!
