Heartburn?

2 weeks out from sleeve. Is heartburn normal or should I be concerned? Didn't think this would be an issue on liquid diet but ooooo man........ Doesn't feel so good.

Congratulations on your surgery!  This can happen but give your surgeon's office a call on Monday just to be sure and they can advise some things to take to help the situation based on your surgery type.

Totally normal but don't ignore it or accept that you have to suffer. Your doc should prescribe a PPI like Prilosec or Protonix to get the acid under control.  Excess acid an cause ulcers and other problems.  Address it as soon as you can.  

Thank you. I take omeprazol once a day. Just not helping. The nausea is crazy as well. I'm so excited about having had the surgery & that my insurance covered ALL of it. I am over cautious about everything. Lol
