Resting heart rate question

At my gym, when they did their usual physical test, my resting heart rate was higher after than before surgery.  Is this normal? Do our heart beat faster during our  honeymoon period?

Your heartrate is affected by a lot of variables. It could be as simple as how tired or anxious you are, or as complicated as physiology and digestive changes with wls. If it was below 100 at rest I would not be concerned.

"Resting" heart rates are used measured first thing in the morning, before you've had a chance to exert your body. Normal  RHR are usually 60-80 bpm but varies based on age and fitness. I've attached a link for you . . .
