Interesting tv programme

Not sure if you can pick up British tv programmes, maybe on YouTube? If you can, last night's Horizon (well known series of science programmes) on BBC2 called Fat versus Sugar.

Not particularly scientific experiment using identical twins and changing their diets to extremes, but outcome a bit surprising. Also talks to some scientists in the field and looks at their research. Not a "deep" programme but of interest,

id you can't get it or can't be bothered, the findings were that a high fat/low carb diet had more or less the same physiological effect as high carb/sugar diet (no calorie limits, just free eating). But the danger food was neither sugar nor fat. It was processed foods which contain both. In their view, neither sugar nor fat was as harmful as some tell us, combined they were.

As I say, popular as opposed to academic science. But interesting!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
