Having trouble with Acid reflux after sleeve

I am having terrible acid reflux. It is so bad that it is keeping me from getting in liquids!! The minute I drink something the reflux gets worse. I was on Nexium for like 10 years before surgery but was changed to protonics after my sleeve. Is there anything I can do??

If you can't even take liquids, phone your doctor.

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I would definitely call the doctor. I haven't had surgery yet; however, I have read that reflux can be a complication from the sleeve. If you have it prior to surgery it can make it worst. I pray that you get dome relief soon. I also suffer from reflux and it is a MISERABLE feeling. Best wishes!

Definitely call the doc. I'm surprised you weren't warned about this beforehand. They can get you on Nexium again if it worked well for you. There is also a procedure called a Nissen Wrap (I think that's right) that can remedy the reflux once and for all.

Call the doc. Quite honestly, he put you in this position, giving you a sleeve with a history of reflux - he had better be available to you 24 hours per day!!!!
