Hi Jessica,

Depression can be crippling, take a look at what has changed in your life and that will help you identify why you are depressed. That being said it could be chemical so reach out for some medical help to find out what you are dealing with.  Please keep us posted.

Take care,

Kathy

When was your bloodwork done last?  I ask because low D can cause depression.  Other than that, it can be a million other reasons unrelated to your RNY, but you're not alone in our out of the wls community suffering.  Definitely see a doc for a nutritional workup first to see if it's as easy as upping supplements before you jump into anti depressant meds.
