Hi, excited but dreading the Liquid protein stuff for at least 4 weeks. My doc says two weeks before and two weeks after. Been trying them out during the education process for the last two months. Yuk, but I'll do it. I'm really inspired by all the shared experiences on this site. Good luck to all and happy days of healthier us.

I found a protein drink that I liked and stayed on it for three years.  You need to get in a lot of protein and drinks can help to do that when your stomach is too small to get enough from eating.  Try different brands and recipes for mixing them and try to find drinks that you really love.

Well, I made pintos and ham for my family's dinner tonight and I had some of the bean soup. YUM. I'd already had the protein I needed for the day, so this was just real food, my own cooking--gotta say I'm a good cook-- and it was satisfying. Wonder how many grams of protein were in it. But then the beans are carbs too aren't they. Best not do it again. :(

i know exactly what you mean. sick of protein drinks. Thinking about ordering from Unjury and getting protein powder to mix in foods....maybe.HOWEVER we NEED the protein like crazy right now, so continue on and I will see you on the losers bench!

Sometimes I think just mixing the powder as a paste and gulping the spoonful or two like bad medicine would be easier than drinking it in 8 oz. Then I could drink water all day without missing the protein. Anyone tried that?  The Unjury---- be sure to not mix in liquid over 140 degrees like it says. You'll be sorry! But it is really flavorless.
