Pleasantly Surprised

I had surgery (VSG) on Wednesday. Only one night in hospital, some pain but not too bad, no nausea and no probs drinking. I made a variety of soups for my recovery and they taste good (although one is way too salty and I won't be drinking that).

I know that other people having the same surgery are having a rough time so I'm sending you my best wishes and hope that you'll be experiencing what I am too very soon.

I am binging on my favourite tv shows and have organised for someone to come and take my 7 month old puppy for walks. She's being lovely and soft with me, so are the cats - funny how our pets do this.

I was very anxious prior to surgery having read other stories and I'm just relieved that it's all gone so well.

My cat always seems to know when I feel ill .. he will cuddle and sleep with me .. it's adorable

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

That is awesome. I hope I have the same experience as you. But its not a concern. I'll just be happy to get it approved and done. Keep us posted on your progress.
