Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and happy to be here :) I am 5 days away from my VSG surgery. I'm starting to have a lot of anxiety. I'm scared and excited all in the same. Anyone have any advice for the first few days post op? Any protein supplement recommendations?

First few days - focus on sipping liquids and walking.  You'll have gas from the laparascopy and walking will help that to pass.  You might find that warm liquids are easier than cold ones.  It's really important to get all your fluids in, otherwise you'll end up back in the hospital due to dehydration.

Protein supplements are pretty personal, we all like different things.  I really like double rich chocolate which I mix in a Blender Bottle with unsweetened original almond milk.  Yum.  It's not a super sweet chocolate, it's a darker chocolate, so this works well for me.
