Hi. I had this procedure on 12/3/2013. I went from 268 to 116 pounds and my weight is stabilizing at this time. My surgeon, Dr Roslin suggested this procedure vs the DS because I was not a severe diabetic. Dr Roslin let me decide the day of the surgery and I was able to email him any questions/concerns prior to the surgery date. I am pleased with this procedure...

Thank you very much. My surgery is scheduled for December 9th. If I can ask why did you decide on the loop DS? Also, what is your vitamin supplier and what protien shake do you use.

I think it is wonderful  you have had such excellent results. It gives me great comfort and excitement to have the chance to improve the quality of life.

keep up your great success.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Jesse

One of the reasons why I choose this surgery is because I wasn't a severe diabetic. My surgeon recommended this surgery and said I would only recommend a traditional DS if you were a severe diabetic. The only issue I have with my labs is im low in vitamin D.

Thanks a million. Since I am not diabetic I guess that is why he wants to do the loop.
