I'm not going to lie. My attitude sucks when it comes to powder protein. I just don't care for ️the consistency of it :( I don't care for yogurt either :( my bad

There are ways to make both better - freezing yogurt into popsicles is a nice change of consistency.  Protein powder can be made thinner or thicker depending on what you mix it with and how much.  And, at some point, you've just got to work to adjust your attitude.  I don't think anyone loves protein powder, but most of us figure out a way to make it work.

Hey I totally agree with you on protein powder! If you are using it as a meal replacement, I suggest you take it for sure! If you add fruits and vegetables to it, it masks the chalky taste of the protein powder!

I received my order of samples from them today too.  I have a couple different brands of vanilla flavored and unflavored and a Cherry.  I bought a 4 pack of Premier vanilla at Walgreens last week and it was sweet but ok.   I am not a protein or sweet lover either but I am determined  to find something I like before I actually need it.

I make the Syntrax chocolate into protein hot chocolate or chocolate protein powder. 

One scoop of protein powder (I prefer either Jay Robb or Syntrax Nectar)

One packet Swiss Miss Sensible Sweets Hot Cocoa (25 cal)

5 pumps Torani Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup

6 oz water or coffee

 

I also like Unjury Chicken Flavored Protein. 

The key to avoiding clumping the protein with hot liquids is to mix it with room temperature liquid, and slowly pour hot liquid. Make sure the liquid is not quite boiled.
