I need to have my hair highlighted, I am 10 weeks out from MGB do you think it will make my hair fall out faster? I have always had oily hair but since surgery it has been really dry. I just don't want to do anything to make it worse.

It won't make it fall out any differently, but will help make it appear thicker.   I can't imagine not having my hair done - whatever the cir****tance!   Go for it!

I continued to regularly color my hair after surgery and haven't noticed any hair falling out.  In fact, I am 10 months out and haven't lost any hair.  I couldn't consider not coloring my hair, I have so much more fun as a blond rather than a  greying runette!

I would not do it if i were you... I know my hair was really affected by coloring...i had to cut it really short.
