I had my surgery October 15th and started at 280 the day of surgery. I maxed out at 302 prior to starting this journey. I am a little over 2 months out and I weighed in at 232 this morning. Right out of surgery I was loosing about 1 pound a day and now it is slowing down to tenths a day but still dropping. My most recent NSV is that last year I went ziplining an purchased two XL t shirts and they were very tight. I can now comfortably wear them. I uploaded some updated photos.

You are doing great - looked at your photos and you can really see that the weight has dropped dramatically!

NSVs are great, aren't they?!    And it's only going to get better.

What a great idea!  I have two pre-op pictures, and they're not even at my highest weight.  I should update them now - I still have a way to go, but the pictures would be a moral booster.  Down from size 32 pants to 24, and 3X "big shirts" to XL. Didn't take pre-op measurements either.  I knew I'd regret it, and I do.

Congratulations on your progress to date.

You look great, very inspiring.  I am starting pureed foods today my gastric sleeve surgery was Mon 12/08.  I am very excited to move from the liquid diet.  You mentioned scrambled eggs, this is ok in the pureed stage?  Trying to find recipes for pureed foods.  I am going to make the split pea soup today.

Post surgery, this was something I loved. I lightly scrambled 2 eggs, added a little low fat cheese. Put it in my nutribullet, added a tablespoon of salsa and blended. This is something to definitely test and make sure your stomach can tollerate it. One thing that was heavenly was pureed chicken salad. I used the Purdue Italian seasoned precooked chicken strips, onion and a little mayonaise. I used some chicken broth to make it a little wattery. Remeber to take your time and measure, measure, measure. You can easily overeat and it will feel terrible. When I had the eggs, initially I was only able to get about 2 to 3 oz down before I started feeling some pressure in my chest. When I made the pea soup, I used three hamhocks. I also made some chili and pureed it. Being that we are only able to eat 4 oz of food, I want what I eat to be savory and protein dense. One thing I noticed post surgery is that my taste changed a little bit and I cannot stand anything real sweet. I loved the Chike shakes but cannot tollerate them now.

Thank you for the tips, very much appreciated!  I have had a hard time getting the shakes down too after surgery, pretty much lived on the bullion & greek yogurt.  After the surgery I felt like gagging every time I tried to get one of those shakes down.  I will try the eggs tomorrow sounds good.
