have the powers that be at OH,ever considered increasing the amount of info required in. Profiles,to become a member.

seems like hardly anyone bothers to fill out a profile anymore, and some don't even have a surgery type, date or anything else.

doesnt seem fair to those of us who spend/spent time on out profiles, wah wah! :)

I do think everyone should strive to at least get an avatar and make sure their surgery type and date is filled in.

I have a friends only profile so don't worry so much if people don't have much on their profile or if they choose to make it more private.

Hi Ladies,

Thank you for the suggestions. I will be sure and forward your thoughts on this  When answering questions it does help to at least know their surgery type.

Enjoy your weekend!

I'm still trying to figure out how to add an avitar.  I have attempted to add a photo a few times but it kept telling me I was over the limit on file size.  I would like to know how to add those comments appear below such as surgery type etc

Hi Cheriebabie,

Forgive me, I didn't see your second question before.  To add something in your signature line (area that appears below your post) you click on your user name (upper right hand corner), settings, message board.

You have two tickers and there is a size limit so I don't think you will be able to add anything. You may want to delete one of your tickers to add something new, just a suggestions.

I know I may seem totally stupid, here.  But I am fairly new to the site, and honestly, I have had trouble figuring out how to do some of that stuff!  For example, the other day, I tried to load an avatar and update my surgery info.  There were technical limitations for the avatar, and i honestly could not figure out how to update my surgery info.  I ended up having to move on to some other work, thinking, "I will get back to this later.  Maybe I will post a question and ask." But then have never posted questions...because of looking dumb!  I used to work in the computer industry, and I do lots of stuff online.  But this site...full of wonderful people and posts...is harder to figure out in some ways. Maybe others are running into interface issues too.

Hi Pokemom,

We are sorry you were so frustrated.  I was planning, Monday to start "DID YOU KNOW" posts to help with some of the site features. We do have a HELP section in the lower right hand side of the site with tutorials.

Send me your avatar and your surgery information and I will be more than happy to help you.  Send it to [email protected]

Looking forward to hearing from you
