meeting the surgeon!

I am super excited! I will fly to anchorage tomorrow, and have my orientation, and first apt with Dr. Todd on Wednesday. Will spend all day at the center doing support groups and tests that haven't been done yet. Any suggestions on questions to ask while I'm there. I'm looking at having Rny.  Thanks.

Hi Crystal!  I don't really have any suggestions for questions, except just make sure you are comfortable with the whole process and ask about anything that concerns you.  I just met my surgeon last week and am in the middle of gathering letters and psych evals and cardiac clearances, etc...  I'm super excited and ready for this change.

OH has an article on questions to ask your bariatric surgery program.  You can pick and choose from it and make your own list to ask at your appointment.
