Really hate the insurance waiting game...

My doctor's office told me that they faxed everything over to the insurance company last Friday but as of today the insurance company is saying they have not received anything. Just so excited to get sleeved that I hate waiting. Oh well...guess I will try back again tomorrow.

Let the fun begin!   I hope your surgery goes well........this is a life of waiting...waiting to get to the next stage of food, waiting to get to the next clothing size, waiting to see if maintenance works......welcome aboard!

Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets oiled first.  When it comes to insurance companies, I tend to believe it takes a squeaky wheel.

Yup, I thought mine was submitted two weeks ago. After a week of no info, I called the insurance company to check, and they had nothing. It turns out the paperwork hadn't been submitted yet. Now, finally today the surgeon's office has the absolute exact paperwork they require to submit....this took two weeks of calling and emailing them because they neglected to tell me they didn't get a piece of paper they wanted from my PCP FIVE MONTHS ago! Argh. They have it all now and I asked the coordinator to let me know when she faxes it into insurance so I can check with them instead :) I asked nicely this whole time but remained very persistent, since I finished all requirements on 1/13.

My delays were obnoxious, I finished requirements 1st week October. I had my surgery January 15th.
