Hi - new here.  Pre testing this past Monday showed a stomach polyp for which I now have to have an endoscopy in 3 days, as well as an inflammed/enlarged pulmonary artery on my x-ray...for which I have to complete a CT scan next Wed for.  I do have asthma and jad bronchitis at the time of my cheat xray (was also on high-dose antibiotics.

What should my appropriate level of freak out be for these two issues?  Surgery is scheduled for 3/18 and I clearly don't want to be diagnosed with a life threatening disease! (Aside from morbid obesity)...

Anyone with one or both of these issues?  Ehat was your outcome?

thank you - Carrie

When I had my endoscopy I was notified that they had found a stomach polyp and it was removed for biopsy.  When I had my follow-up with the GI he said everything was normal and cleared me to have surgery. Hopefully everything will be okay and you'll be able to have your surgery without delay.  Best of Luck.
