Kate-True Brit no longer with us
I know many of you know Kate-True Brit from her many supportive and some not so supportive posts. So it is with great sadness that I tell you she has passed away over the weekend. She was scheduled to leave for a vacation to Italy and evidently passed of a heart attack the night before leaving.
I have known her for many years and she has been a great friend even tho we had polar opposite opinions about our bands. I'm very glad that we were able to agree to disagree about the band yet still remain fast friends to the end. I know I will miss her greatly and her knowledge about the band and many other subjects will be sorely missed. She was a lovely person, a seeker of truth and knowledge in general. She will be missed a great deal!!!

What a shock and a terrible loss. It is unbelievable to think that we won't see her knowledgeable and supportive posts any longer. As a long-term member with so much WLS information, Kate helped many, many of us for years. She will be greatly missed.

Kate was a wonderful, wonderful woman. She wanted so badly to help people, and spent an incredible amount of time and energy toward that end.
Her family was so lucky. She talked about them all the time, and loved them dearly.
I'll miss her so much. I keep hoping this is some sort of bad joke, but of course it isn't. We've all lost something of great value.
