Medicaid, Affordable Care Act...any plans that cover WLS?

My neighbors (husband and wife) of 22 years have noticed my weight loss and asked what I have done, and i have shared with them.  The husband has struggled with significant weight all the time I have known him and lately it is taking more and more of a toll on his overall health.  His PCP has recommended WLS as his best option now, but his insurance does not cover it.

He and his wife are looking to change their employment, hoping to find an employer whose insurance might cover the surgery.

But I also wondered: Are there any Medicaid plans, or plans through the ACA, that might cover WLS?  What options does he have?

Thanks.  That is a really helpful link!  Sadly, not much covered in my state.  But it at least helps to know that without doing a lot of crazy detective work.
