Lately Ive hated seeing pictures of myself... videos.... I've never had an issue seeing my reflection in a mirror, until recently... I hate it...

Was at our dog training last night (Rally Novice class w/ my labradoodle) and my wife took a video of me... Watched today and I cant stand it...

One of the vets here made me not hate the person who I was in before pictures. You know you have a good heart and you are a good person.

You have to look at the good of  what you are doing. You started the WLS journey. You should be proud you took your dog. I am sure before you thought about surgery you would not have taken your dog.

You are on a track to change. Beating ourselves up for getting to the point of having surgery does not help.

Please don't be so hard on yourself. To get up in front of people. Obese or not is a brave thing to do.

Chris, just know that you are working on getting healthy.  Don't be so hard on yourself, but do use those videos to keep you focused on weight loss once you start your journey.  Also, always keep them around, don't delete or toss them.  They can be a motivating factor when we tend to lose sight of our goals.

Hang in there!   :)

Hey Chris.

What do you go? About 305 tops? That weight will fall off pretty fast. You carry alot of your weight like me, in your mid-section. It comes off really good. You're gonna feel silly that you waited to do this when your looking like your old self again.

Beautiful pup. No pitbull, but beautiful nonetheless. I think you'll do great with this surgery. Keep your head up young man. All is well.

Peace brother. Good luck.

Bah. You're just a little feller.

Use this as motivation. All of the hard work is going to be in your head, and anything that can help is in your favor. I still see myself as a big huge guy. It keeps me on the straight and narrow.

This will all be in the past before you know it.

Thanks everyone for comments. I dont dwell on how I hate to see myself, or where I am. I dont like it, but it doesnt fully consume me like it may have come across. I just hate seeing the pictures of me now, knowing that in a few months and from then on it will be a part of my history and not current, thats all :)

I appreciate yalls kind words ;)
