REST WEEK

Ran my 1st Marathon today. Still hard to wrap my mind around that...

As I crossed the finish line arms raised with my 15 year old son Evan and 14 year old daughter Abby I cried tears of joy, pride and gratitude for choosing WLS and giving me a chance for a healthier life!!!! At 350 then and 205 now this would not have been possible!!!I highly doubt I will run another....still ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE

Which one did you do.  Be proud of yourself. After my first one I thought never again and since than I have done 2 more and this year I am doing a 50 k trail one which will be like 60 because it is trail running. Don't be surprise if you do another one. Do a lot of walking to help with the pain you might be feeling. Sitting will make it worse. After you do a few the pain does not seem so bad as the first time

Hi I ran the Providence marathons in Providence Rhode Island. I am still highly doubt full that I will do another one but you never know right. Agreed with the walking it does help

my sisters in law did a marathon and swore to never do another.  Since then they've done a half AND another whole.  now they are trying to talk me into a half.  I'm not looking to do anything longer than a 5k at this point.

I am very proud for you and of you Bill. That is as inspiring a thing as I've yet to read here.

Terrific thing to read on Monday morning as I'm going to start my morning walk/jog.

GREAT job Bill.
