My Onederland Experience

Yes, I think I finally did it - I crossed over into the 190s! Woot!

This was not easy... my first several months after surgery saw me losing anywhere from 25-15 lbs. a month. I got down to 203, and that was all she wrote. I stayed between 201 and 203 for a week or so, then I had a not-so-good eating experience on Mothers Day. This put me into a bit of a tailspin, and I had a lot of horrible carb cravings for a couple of weeks. At one point during the last month I hit 199, but the next day I was back at 202, where I stayed FOREVER it seemed.

I took some advice from some fine folks here, got my cravings under control, upped the protein and water content, and slowly came down to 199 again. Today, when I weighed myself, I am 197.5, so I think it's safe to say I'm over the hump.

It took me over a month to get from 203 to 197.5, and most of that loss was in the last week. The stall was emotionally terrifying, although logically I knew it was a stall. I've finally made it to the other side, my cravings are under control, and I'm no longer worried that the size 10-12's I'd bought for myself will never fit.

I'M BACK!

Great Job!!  There is something about entering the 100's that makes this journey seem so much more satisfying...

I remember from the other times that I've lost weight... I can't wait to do it again!

Continue on and celebrate with something healthy, like new nail polish or some cute new panties!

I hear you!  I've been at 205 for the third week......patience is the word I hear a lot of but the 100s are so close!

Good job!

It's not about losing weight.....it's about gaining confidence too.  It's not about shrinking in size, it's about growing in strength

YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!      Congrats!   I am at 209 and this is my goal right now, to hit onederland!   It is taking forever, so I am trying to go stricter now.   I know you are very happy with this.   I can't wait.
