sooooo... UPDATE! I went to the doctor today for what I thought was going to be my 2nd Dietician appointment only to find out it was my third and final one. I couldn't believe it. When I went to the doctor for the first time in March that counted as the first one. Then I did one in April and this one in May. So now I have to do my psych eval which is taking forever to do. After that they are submitting everything to my insurance company for approval. My doc told me to start my liquid diet today because I still need to lose at least 27 lbs within the next 3 weeks or get as close to it as possible. I am still shocked. The whole train ride home I was sitting there like.... am I really going to have a chance at life now? All those things I haven't done or feel like my weight has kept me from am I going to be able to accomplish them? So many thoughts going through my mind. Oh question and advice time... what helped  You guys get through this liquid diet and how much did you lose through the liquid diet process? Thanks guys and I hope all is well. Praying for all of my OH friends. ;-) Thanks

thanks super. That is awesome. My insurance requires I do 3 months or 6 months and my surgeon went with the 3 months. They flew by I tell you that. I thought I was still on month 2. Hehehe. Now to get the psych eval done and lose the rest of my lbs. Easier said than done but gonna face it head on.

I lost 14# on the 2 week liquid diet. I did have one meal in the two weeks- it was my Hubby's birthday (it was a sensible meal).

Timing out when I had a yogurt, shake etc is what kept me sane. It's definitely doable. And chewing sugar free gum helped a bunch too. I stayed in my room while the family ate dinner.

Thank you guys for all the replies. You all are amazing and I am so proud and happy for you. And you guys look AWESOME! Today was my day one and it was crazy. My head is hurting so bad because I am starving and my stomach is rumbling. The water fills me up but you can't help but want something that will stick to your ribs or something with some taste. I am motivated though. I can't give up now or give into temptation. So I am going to fight through this hangry diet as my doc calls it. Being hungry and angry. Lol will keep you guys posted on this journey mine and you guys keep me posted.

Have a blessed Thursday ;-)
