Really nice day at the ocean.

This is how we spent last weekend together. The ocean was finally heating up! We had an impromptu game of tennis ball, baseball. My son is the athlete, but my daughter crushed a ball into the water on one of her many hits. We walked for miles and picked a crap ton of blackberries.I made blackberry scones yesterday, and blackberry, nectarine salad to go with my ribeye steak. I'm so glad that you all are here to help pull me through times of trouble. Or confusion. My love to all of you. All of you.

Thank you Liz. I have been just reading for a month or so, not much posting. I like the cycles that happen here. New folks coming in daily keeps things fun here.

I know the importance of feeling when it's time to ask for help here. I love the social aspect of this place, but the knowledge that stays in these pages is amazing for me.

Thank you Miss Texas. I went to high school in Lubbock, played linebacker at Coronado highMustangs. Texas Tech was recruiting me to play football for them. I went into the military instead because Odessa-Permian beat us by like 50 points in our homecoming game.

Ahhh memories. I do miss Texas though. I need to get back there.
