Another two thumbs up for Patch MD

I had my labs done for my 2-year check up today.  I've been on the patches for almost one year.  The NP said she has never seen better labs on a gastric bypass patient.  She said typically there will be at least one area to improve in (B12, D, Iron) etc.  Nope, mine were all mid-range of normal.  Awesome.  I am not affiliated with Patch MD and get nothing for posting this.  Just wanted to share my personal experience.

I use the: Multi-vitamin, D + Calcium, glucosamine + chondriotin, & the new Iron + Vit C patch.

iloveravens,  that is so awesome!   I will be getting my labs done again, so I am excited to see where I am now.

Be sure to go and post a review for them as well   http://www.obesityhelp.com/profiles/vendor/patchmd/   Now that your labs are in and you have some definitive results, will be good for others who are looking into using PatchMD to know.

That's great to hear. I had no problem with most things with regular vitamins, but couldn't absorb much calcium. My calcium numbers started back up with the patch.

Congrats, and I'm really glad to hear this.  I get my 2-year checkup in October, and I'm hoping my labs with the patch are just as positive.

My 18 month follow up is coming up soon- I'm curious to see where my level are. Other things I've tried using an adhesive based medication for, the adhesive irritates my skin to badly, so I'm worried about trying these. If my labs are good I'll likely stick to pills.

I use them and have adhesive issues.  Here's what I need to do - I only keep them on during the day (I put them on in the AM after showering and take them off before I go to bed) AND I rotate locations.  I do my shoulders and abdomen, and sort of rotate around.  When I had been doing the same location every day and keeping them on for 24 hours, I was having constant itchiness/rash stuff.

Awesome news

I have a question for you

Do you put them both on at the same time? I know we're supposed to space out Vit C 2 hours before/after calcium, so just curious

Also, how do they work with showering? I normally work out during my lunch break and shower after before returning to work, so curious if they stick on pretty well?

I guess I could technically put on after my shower, which is around 1pm and then take off at bed time around 9, since the website says to wear for 8 hours
