I have been MIA from the OH forums this summer--kind of in and out in spurts.  Whatever happened to Gary V?  He used to post all the time.

Oh yeah...he's still around.  Doesn't post as consistantly as before but will chime in with something funny or thought provoking every once in a while.  Keep posted.

He's gone. Deactivated, a week or two ago. He had some troubling posts about alcohol, and one about violence and firearms. He deleted a few of those posts, then deactivated.

His troubles seemed to go far beyond weight.

oh no!  I remember reading that someone in his area had murdered their family members and ?committed suicide?  He took it to heart.

I didnt realize he had alcohol and anger issues. He seemed so upbeat.

I hope he comes back.

I hope he is just on spirtual quest, communing with nature and thinking about stuff. Or off, helping those in need like the Italians or people in Louisiana.

As I recall his last posts (a couple of weeks ago or so) were very down and at least one point he was showing as a discontinued member (or whatever the term is).

Try not to worry about him too much.  He deactivated here a couple of weeks ago, but he's alive and well  and requesting friends on facebook.
