This is Us -TV Show

this is a New show on NBC-- has anyone else caught it? Part of the storyline so far is about an obese woman trying to deal with her weight issues, but it also pans back into her childhood and the focus that existed on her weight as a child. That's storyline is really hitting a chord with me. I've thought, felt and experienced everything that her character is expressing. Im interested to see where it goes.

Never mind I see the show is called This is Us

I'm going to have to check that out. I've heard a number of people say it's good. 

I've only seen the first episode so far. It was fantastic.

We watch this show also- I was tearing up the first episode. So much I could relate to.

I jus****ched the first episode last night. I had heard there was an obese woman as part of the storyline and was like sure. I bet she's a size 10 or something. I watched it and had a visceral reaction - I swear to god she's the size I was before surgery. Plus she's freaking beautiful. Like I said, I only watched the first episode but everything I saw with her storyline I liked. I hope they handle it well. I'm definitely going to continue watching.

size 10 ....LOL!  Just like the size 10 "plus-sized" models.  Grrrr...

Interesting!  What genre of show is it?  Drama?  

Yes!  I saw the previews for this show back in May and was anxiously awaiting.  I've watched the first two episodes and I have to say that I LOVE IT.  I'm not normally a drama type person, but this show is just so fascinating to me.  

I highly recommend watching it.  I also love the relationship between Kate and Toby.  each episode leaves you with anticipation and makes sure that you'll be back to see just what the hell is going on.  LOVE IT!
