I'm a few days shy of 5 months now from my VSG

Here are some photos. Nothing really new in my life. Wife and I started the ball and process for our International Adoption, so thats taking up a lot of time and resources. Had a kickball game last night -- our teams in last at 0-4 lol but whatever. Wife caught a video of me dancing... Tried to get into the other teams head, didnt work.

Am down to 221 from 315 so far.

Been making a lot of (beef) BBQ, slowed my losing down. Switched to chicken again, losing picking back up.

My face is super skinny, now! Size 38 pants from 44. Shirts are XL. Last notch of my belt, need a new one. Underwear are all really baggy, but am too dang cheap to buy new ones. I only wear the Under Armor boxer briefs, and refuse to wear any cotton ones, so will let my boxer BRIEFS turn into just boxERs lol.

Hope youre all well

For a belt suggestion - if you buy a good leather belt you can add holes to it yourself with a leather punch.

My partner is a belt wearer and actually gets his belts from the leather merchant at our local Ren Faire.  He's lost about 80 pounds over the last few years, and he just takes his belts with us to the Faire each year and they're happy to punch new holes and trim the ends for him.  It's a good investment :)

oh for sure! can unscrew the part that attaches to the buckle as well generally and trim it down as much as you need, then reattach everything and youre good to go :D

I just used a regular drill to drill new holes when I was losing. It did not look the best, but I knew I would not be wearing the belt very long.

Haha!  That's a great idea!  My partner actually did one hole with a knife point. Out leather guy "yelled" at him for that one.

Hi Chris!

LOOKING GOOD!  I agree with Gwen on the leather belt. My husband use to do this and added a ton of holes.  Congratulations on starting the process for adoption.  We wish luck!
