I lived in Chicago for years and as most of you know by now they have not won a World Series since 1908  .  I don't want to jinx them but please, please, please 

For those of you that are pre-op or recently post op, life does to have to stop after WLS.  Going to enjoy a Cubs win, Chicken Chili and a nice fire in the fireplace.  Please join me!  

I hope the neighbors don't call the police thinking someone is killing me when I start screaming.  If I was in Chicago my neighbors would be screaming too. I live in NorCal and they just don't understand 

Chicken Chili Recipe

Using my instant pot for the chili.  Just hit the bean/chili button and let it do the work  How cool is that?

You can tell I haven't used my instapot much because my first reaction was "there's a bean button??"

I have only used it for green beans and pressure cooker stuff. So when I looked up how to do chili in the pot they said bean/chili button and I had to go look   Pretty darn cool if I should say so myself 

are you saying that the Instant pot cooks dried beans in chili from dry?  Because, if this is so, i'm adding that MFer to my amazon wishlist for Christmas.

I had not tried that but it appears the time is reduced.  I did a search and here are some recipes with the instant pot and beans. I love my instant pot  It was a little expensive for me so I waited and got it at a big reduced amount with Amazon prime sell.
