Due to issues at work I had to reschedule my surgery.  It is now scheduled for March 13.  So I am glad I took the high road and ended up only having it postponed a couple of weeks.

For what it's worth, I would have done the exact same thing :)

Edit to add:  In fact I did!  I delayed for a few weeks so the time I wanted off didn't interfere with already scheduled PTO on my team.  Funny... I had forgotten that!  Ultimately a small delay made for a better work environment.

You are with co-workers more than your own family. It was best just to reschedule. Pissed off co-workers can really ruin your days for quite a while.

Good for you for finding a way to accommodate everyone and not disturb your own schedule all that much.  It will come back to you one way or another.

So glad it all worked out, so easily! Best of luck to your co-worker, with the dart tournament, though it's the Bahama cruise lady I'm really green about :)

Two weeks isn't very long.  I'm glad you were able to work it out.
