I have friends that live south and north of Nashville and they were showing the tops being ripped off the roofs of a store in Franklin.  I grew up in the Midwest but we had basements. They don't in that area

I'm in southern Ohio and we had some pretty bad storms roll through here last night and again first thing this morning. Got woke up twice last night to my weather alert going off. Thankful I have it!

I am so glad you are OK!  

I'm just a bit northeast of Nashville and it was strong storms this morning, my kids school was delayed for 2hours till they passed. It was bad south of Nashville, there were two confirmed tornados last I heard.

I was actually driving cross country with my bf who is being stationed in Virginia. We got to Arkansas and it started hailing and raining like crazy. Not what this California girl is used to lol
