Very ah-ha moment for me this week NSV alert

So, weight loss has really slowed, I'm about 4 lbs from my goal weight, yay!, but this month has been a tricky month, with getting HRT pellets put in (tasting too much), and being so close, I've not really lost but a pound or two... tomorrow will be my official 10 month weigh in, and it's going to be the lowest loss for me since surgery. Bittersweet, as I feel great, know I'm doing a great job, and am proud of myself... but... not yet to goal, and it's getting real.

So, I needed to think about the positive things for a few minutes, and I just shared this story with a friend of mine, and the second time around, it really hit home for me...

The other day I was in the store, when I got caught up in the flow with a little old gentlemen on one of the electric scooters. I smiled, as I always do, said hello, as I mostly do, and he turned his little scooter around and said to me "You just have the prettiest smile and cutest little dimple!"... I said thank you and went on. I laughed to myself and sort of shook my head because, folks, I don't have a dimple! Never have.

The thought left my mind before I even got out to my car...

Then yesterday we were at the Science Museum... so we were sitting down to watch a show and I had my 17yo do a group selfie. Girl totally rocks these. So she texts it to me today, and I blow it up to scrutinize my new wrinkles that are appearing as I lose more weight, and I see something...

Is that a dimple??? OMG... I have dimples???!! When did that happen??!! (or is that just another realllly deep wrinkle??! )
