So Sick of Being Cold!

That pretty much sums it up. I can't wear enough layers or work out enough to be warm (for long). I wear a hoodie in the house and sometimes a hoodie plus a bathrobe (which is really comical when someone shows up). I don't miss my fat layers at all, but I could go for a little heat up in here.

I was always cold when I was fatter. Now that I'm almost 60# thinner, I'm even colder! I drink hot tea all day long. My thyroid is normal, I take 50mcg as I only have a partial thyroid. Yea, I'm also wearing a hoodie right now.

I had to move to the south. I couldn't stand winters up north.

That doesn't bode well for me. I live very near to Canada (on the Eastern side!).

I lived in NY....snow every winter made me miserable! I couldn't keep my feet/hands warm. I developed Raynaud Syndrome post op. Cold effects me in a really really bad way

Yep, that's where I am. Upstate NY, on the Eastern side. I know some folks with Raynaud and I know they suffer up here :(

YES! That was a major reason to move! Texas is cheap and nice and warm!

I stunk up my office for 3 hours today trying to warm up my feet. The rubber soles on my insulated boots started melting after 10 minutes next to my heater. I'm also wearing thermal socks and my feet were still cold!

I figure when I'm done losing weight, I will have lost about 5 winter coats that I've been wearing around most of my adult life. I was cold during the day and warm at night before. Now I'm cold 24 hours lol.

As you say, I don't miss the "coats" and I'm sure looking forward to not being completely miserable in the summer for a change. That's going to be a whole new experience for me!

Although I am not as warm (sweaty) as I used to be, I don't have that constant cold to my bones feeling anymore at over one year out (I had it bad after surgery). So something has changed.
