I am 6 yrs August 2017 out from gastric sleeve surgery.

I never met goal by 10 libs, but doc saud i didnt need to lose any more.

I started going up and down by 10 lbs not knowing why but at least it would go down. And now I'm up 16.4 lbs and it won't budge.

I've done 5 day pouch test and at times it seemed to be working and at other times it didn't.

I am literally truly hungry 30 minutes after eating.

Today I ate 6.4 oz white tuna and handful of almonds and never had the full feeling.

TERRIFIED

HELP!!!

I'm supposed to have plastic surgery to remove skin but not wanting to when I'm 16.4 lbs up and, doing at a disadvantage with the extra weight.

Skip the pouch test and go back to eating dense proteins. Measure and log everything you put into your mouth. Prioritize protein, skip the processed and refined carbs, only drink calorie-free liquids.

You can do this.

What, exactly, are you eating? Give us the last few days of your logs, with weights, and we can try to troubleshoot for you.

A lot of the things you're eating aren't dense proteins and you're likely eating way more calories than you think you are due to things sigh as "small apple" and almond butter.

I would recommend that you do an "all meat" week and ditch all of the carbs you've been eating and stick to dense protein only for a week. Replace the salads, apples, almonds, etc, with steak, chicken, pork chops, and similar.

I know what it is like to have to eat all the time you get light headed and I have to keep my calories up also. I totally get it.

I'm not even 2 years out but I would be hungry all day if ate what you were eating too.

You are not utilizing your tool to the best of its ability. You are eating protein that isn't that dense and adding in other foods, that make it even less dense. You are just pushing it through your sleeve.

You need to be eating meat, dense meat. Everything you are eating isn't satisfying or filling so you are hungry.

You should be eating 4 ounces of chicken, steak, pork chops, lamb, buffalo. anything dense. Not seafood. I love seafood but I can eat 8 ounces or more at a time and it doesn't keep me full at all.

Give up bananas, period.

Until you hit your goal, give up the chia seeds, cottage cheese, berries, carrots, and sorry the almonds too. Nus are great but they are a lot of calories.

Give up almond and peanut butter, carbs are basically equal to protein, they care calorie dense and do not utilize restriction. You would be better off having a small 100 calorie portion of meat instead of these other snacks you have.

Eat 4-5 ounces of a dense protein every 3 hours.

And even though you are on a PPI, you should go see a Dr and make sure it is still working for you and you don't need a different dosage.

Thanks. Will do...with good veggies right?

The other way of eating got me where my doctor wanted me when he decided 10 lbs more would be to much.

Keep prayers going. Appreciate input.
