Smallest one at the table?!

VSG on 10/31/16

I just experienced the most surreal thing last night. I was at a birthday celebration dinner with 10 other people. For the first time in my adult life, I was the SMALLEST person over 18 at the table! Someone else posted recently about looking to see if they were the largest in the room--I used to do that, and I usually always was.

It wasn't until after I saw the group photo afterward last night, that I noticed I was the smallest. In my head, I fit right in. I was also amazed at the amount of food everyone ate, knowing that I used to be right there with them.

I thank God every day for me being able to have my VSG. I hope I never forget how I feel right now, and continue to fight the good fight!
