Great tool that helped me stay at goal!

Through my journey and through the years I have used some tools that really helped me. Once you hit goal the real work begins. Once the spotlight dims and the cheers/compliments fade it's all up to you! It's all up to you to stay focused and this can be hard.

Wearing this shirt I had made when I worked out helped me stay at goal. It reminded me just how far I had come and as the words say never go back to that person again

I wore it for the first few years after hitting goal. You will get to a point where you don't focus on the weight loss so much because you are busy living life (and staying on track). That is when you put the shirt away. Don't get me wrong, it's still hangs in my closet, I just don't need to wear it anymore

Try it, you may like it

You look amazing! 10 years out and to look like you do, WOW, you inspire me. What an accomplishment and yes, to stay focused has to be so difficult. It is hard for me at 8 months out I am fearful for the what if's down the road.

Hi livingincolor,

Thank you for the kind words

I have to be honest that photo is 13 years old and before PS. Here is a more recent one, at 140. I have lost another 10 pounds and now at 130. When I lost my husband I had regain for the first time since my surgery. It took a few starts and stops but I got back on track and lost the 60 pounds I had gained.

Just stay focused, stick with the rules/basics and you will be OK. If you have not done so make sure you have all the "head" issues addressed to. This is KEY!!!!

You look even more amazing! You are so pretty and look super fit. To lose a "regain" of 60 pounds is even more commendable, way to go. Proof that you can lose at anytime. Congratulations!!!

I can't wait to reach goal, not sure what it is going to be yet, step at a time. My original therapist I had for my recommended 4 sessions prior to surgery was not doing it for me. I kept searching and at last found one that is extremely effective. We clicked. Just starting to deal with the food issues and where they started, etc. Thank you for your words of wisdom.

I hate to sound like a sound bite but I swear it and have lived it....twice. If you "work" the tool, the tool will "work" for you. If this puppy still works after 13 years it WORKS!

That is an interesting thought? Let me throw it at the events planners and see if it's doable and what the cost would be. Everyone would have to bring a before photo
